Camino de Santiago without limits
The aim of this system is that any person with any type of disability can make the Camino de Santiago, naturally and aoutdoors, like any other pilgrim in normal conditions.
For this purpose, Actividades Turísticas para Minusválidos (ATM) provides you with the means of transport to carry out the much desired Camino de Santiago.
Transport
Accessibility on the Camino de Santiago
This consists of a horse-drawn carriage, sufficiently garanteed, tame and hitched to the carriage, which can be driven by anyone.
The carriage has accommodation for the disabled person in their chair (the usual method of transport), and the disabled person can access the carriage by their own means as a ramp at the rear of the carriage is deployed with a very gentle slope gor access to the carriage.
Any limit or obstacle can be overcome
Once inside, the seat is anchored to the floor by means of anchorages to fix it to the trolley.
The pilgrim has the option of going outdoors, with protection only from the sun (totally opaque) or, at the same time, it can be totally or partially closed around its perimeter, to protect from the air, rain and cold (transparent).
The transport system must at all times be managed or governed by one of the people who are carrying out the Camino, and the horses must always be treated with respect and delicacy, in order to be able to successfully comlete the much desired Camino.
There are no obstacles in the way
that cannot be overcome
